What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily accounting transactions using our in-house system—accuracy is your mantra
- Reconciling all company accounts, including banks, suppliers, and customers, to keep our books spotless
- Ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations and handling timely tax return filings
- Preparing and organizing data for management, statutory, and ad-hoc financial reporting
- Collaborating closely with operations and admin teams to gather information and solve financial queries
- Supporting audits and working with external consultants when required
- Proactively identifying discrepancies or potential cost-saving opportunities
- Rolling up your sleeves to meet deadlines, especially during busy end-of-month and year-end periods
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 4 years of hands-on accounting experience (industrial sector exposure is a plus)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of VAT compliance and tax return processes in the UAE
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail—double-checking is second nature to you
- Ability to stay organized, focused, and calm under pressure
- Effective communication skills (English essential; Arabic is a bonus)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Familiarity with inventory and cost accounting
- Experience working in a similar industrial location or with water bottling processes
