About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Curious about what it’s like to be at the center of maritime operations in one of the world’s busiest shipping hubs? As an Administrative Coordinator with our Dubai-based shipping line and ship management company, you’ll do just that. This isn’t your average desk job — you’ll be the communication bridge between our team, agents, and service providers, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. If you thrive on organization, love the energy of logistics, and want to see the direct impact of your work, you’ll feel right at home here.

About the Company

We’re more than a name on a cargo manifest. Our team in Dubai is a tight-knit crew with a passion for the shipping industry and a commitment to supporting global trade. While our work is serious, our workplace isn’t stuffy — team lunches, sharing stories from around the world, and the occasional debate about the best local coffee spot are all part of the culture. Growth is in our DNA, both as a company and as individuals, and we value colleagues who bring their authentic selves to the office every day. At our core, we believe smooth operations start with people who care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the main point of contact with agents for crew changes, vessel supplies, and various maritime services.
  • Coordinate logistics for crew arrivals, departures, and onboard necessities — no two days are quite the same.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of crew movements, service requests, and supply inventories with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure everyone’s on the same page (and the right ship!).
  • Support the administrative side of shipping operations, from preparing reports to tracking documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling or logistical hiccups with professionalism and a calm approach.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements — we love fresh perspectives.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Experience in administrative roles, ideally in logistics, shipping, or related industries.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills — you’re the kind of person who keeps lists for your lists.
  • Clear, professional communication in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic office technology.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work from our Dubai office, conveniently located near public transportation.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in maritime or shipping environments.
  • Additional language skills, especially Arabic.
  • Familiarity with crew management systems or logistics software.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Office location with easy public transit access — because commutes shouldn’t be stressful.
  • Supportive team environment where collaboration really matters.
  • Clear pathways for professional development and growth within a global industry leader.
  • Regular social events and a genuine sense of belonging — you’ll know your colleagues, not just their job titles.
  • Exposure to the fast-paced, fascinating world of international shipping.

We believe that great operations start with great people. If you want to play a vital role in a dynamic, high-impact industry, we hope to welcome you aboard.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For an Administrative Coordinator role in Dubai’s shipping and logistics sector, you should expect a salary of at least 5,000–7,500 AED per month, depending on your experience and familiarity with the maritime industry. Candidates with prior shipping or logistics background or additional language skills may be able to negotiate towards the higher end of this range, especially given the central role and fast-paced nature of the position.
