About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you that rare blend of sales acumen and design passion? At Mountaigne Design, we’re looking for a Business Developer Executive who doesn’t just talk the talk, but can walk into a meeting and genuinely excite clients about the possibilities of exceptional interiors. If you’re driven to open new doors, foster lasting partnerships, and leave your mark on Dubai’s ever-evolving skyline, this could be the next chapter in your career. The interior design and fit-out space in the UAE has never been more competitive—or more rewarding for those who know how to connect vision with opportunity.
About the Company
Mountaigne Design isn’t your typical interiors firm. We’re a close-knit team of creative thinkers, pragmatic doers, and detail-obsessed designers who believe great spaces start with great relationships. Our projects span luxe residential, innovative commercial, and standout hospitality environments—each crafted to leave a lasting impression. You’ll find that Friday demo days are a big deal here, and it’s not unusual for team brainstorms to spill over into late brunches. We value initiative, celebrate originality, and genuinely support each other’s growth. In a market that moves fast, our focus is on quality, trust, and building something lasting—together.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying, targeting, and pursuing new business opportunities within the UAE’s buzzing interior design and fit-out sector.
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers—becoming their go-to for all things interiors.
- Developing tailored proposals and presentations that capture each client’s unique needs and aspirations.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial pitch to contract closure—keeping one eye on the details and the other on the big picture.
- Staying plugged into industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to keep our offerings fresh and relevant.
- Collaborating closely with design and project teams to ensure seamless handover and project delivery.
- Representing Mountaigne Design at key networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums (yes, sometimes the best deals happen over coffee or canapés).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven track record in B2B sales within the UAE interior design or fit-out industry.
- Strong client network and established relationships across the region.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A real passion for design, architecture, or the built environment (you know your way around a mood board).
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with CRM software or sales management tools.
- Previous experience with high-end residential or hospitality projects.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid office setup (we trust you to get the job done).
- Opportunities to work on some of the region’s most exciting interiors projects.
- Supportive team culture that values creativity, initiative, and open communication.
- Regular team-building events, design workshops, and Friday get-togethers.
- Real prospects for professional growth and the freedom to shape your own role.
We believe work should inspire you—and that your ideas can help shape the spaces where people live, work, and thrive. If you’re ready for a new challenge in a company that values both ambition and authenticity, we can’t wait to meet you.
