Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Car Driver to support transportation operations at our busy construction site in Sharjah. This vital role ensures that both personnel and essential materials reach their destinations safely, efficiently, and on time. Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Drive construction site staff and visitors to and from various locations as required, adhering to all traffic and site safety regulations.
• Material Delivery: Transport construction materials and tools between suppliers and the site, ensuring all items are delivered in good condition and on schedule.
• Route Planning: Select optimal routes based on traffic conditions and site deadlines to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and basic maintenance checks of assigned vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and material deliveries.
• Site Support: Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, collaborating with site staff to ensure smooth logistics.
• Communication: Coordinate closely with project managers and site supervisors to understand daily transportation requirements and adjust plans as priorities shift.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driver’s License: Must possess a current and clean UAE driver’s license suitable for driving standard vehicles.
• Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience driving to and from construction sites or similar settings is highly preferred.
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependable attendance.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining high standards of road safety and adhering to all driving regulations.
• Time Management: Ability to plan routes and manage multiple deliveries or transport tasks within tight schedules.
