What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers with a warm smile and ensuring a positive checkout experience every time.
- Accurately processing cash, card, and digital transactions—no shortcuts when it comes to balancing the till.
- Keeping meticulous records of daily sales and receipts, and assisting with end-of-day reconciliation.
- Handling returns and exchanges in line with company policies, always aiming to resolve issues smoothly.
- Collaborating with colleagues to keep the checkout area tidy and well-stocked with essentials (receipt rolls, bags, etc.).
- Communicating with supervisors about any discrepancies or challenges that pop up during your shift.
- Assisting with daily sales reporting and flagging any unusual activity promptly.
