About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it's like to see a project grow from lines on paper to towering real-world structures? As a Civil Engineer at our well-regarded consultancy office in Fujairah, you’ll play a lead role in both design and on-site supervision, making sure every beam and foundation meets the vision (and the specs). If you enjoy balancing time between field boots and CAD screens—and you’re ready to bring thoughtful oversight to a variety of local building projects—this opportunity could be just the right fit for you.
About the Company
We’re not your typical, sprawling engineering firm—think smaller team, bigger impact. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with clients in Fujairah and across the UAE, supporting everything from municipal upgrades to private developments. Our culture? Collaborative, detail-obsessed, and genuinely supportive (there’s never a wrong time for an espresso run or a team lunch). We believe in engineering solutions that blend innovation with practical know-how—plus a little local flair.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with project managers to develop workable project timelines, structural designs, and effective site supervision plans
- Oversee construction sites—ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and that technical designs are followed (and adapted if need be)
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed field reports on progress, quality, and any issues
- Draft and review structural designs, making calculations and adjustments as required by the project and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Troubleshoot construction or design challenges as they arise—sometimes thinking on your feet is half the fun
- Mentor junior engineers and help foster a cooperative team environment
What You’ll Bring

- Proficiency with structural design software (AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of local building codes, technical standards, and site safety regulations in the UAE
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and communicate effectively in English (Arabic a plus!)
Nice-to-Haves
- UAE Society of Engineers membership or eligibility
- Previous experience liaising with Fujairah’s local authorities
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices or green building standards
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
