About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever considered how a trusted driver can be the anchor of a busy design team? As a Driver cum Helper with our leading Interior Decoration Design Company in the UAE, you’ll be much more than just the person behind the wheel. You’ll be the reliable link that keeps our creative professionals moving, our workshops humming, and our projects on track. In a market where time and presentation are everything, your efforts will help us set the gold standard in service and efficiency.
About the Company
We’re not your average design firm — here, every project is a fresh canvas, and every team member’s contribution is celebrated. Our offices buzz with energy, whether it's the excitement of a new client concept or the laughter over strong Arabic coffee during break time. We believe great design starts with great teamwork, and that means supporting each other in and out of the studio. Friday mornings? That’s when we gather to share stories from the week and swap tips on everything from new materials to the best shawarma spots in town.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely transport staff between company workshops, project sites, and our main office — your punctuality keeps our schedules on point.
- Assist design and installation teams during working hours, lending a hand with loading, unloading, or setting up materials as needed.
- Take ownership of a company vehicle — maintaining its cleanliness, performing basic checks, and scheduling routine servicing.
- Respond proactively to last-minute requests or changes in schedule, always ready to help the team adapt.
- Keep simple records of mileage, maintenance dates, and any vehicle issues, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Support general operational tasks around the workshop or sites when driving duties are light.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid UAE driving license with a clean record.
- Previous driving experience, ideally in a company or service environment.
- A proactive, can-do attitude — you’re always looking for ways to help.
- Good communication skills; you’re just as comfortable chatting with site workers as with designers.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and a genuine care for safety.
- Reliability — our team counts on you to be there, ready, every day.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary that reflects your commitment and reliability.
- Be part of a creative, supportive team where your contributions are truly valued.
- Consistent hours with clear expectations — plus overtime opportunities during busy project phases.
- Work with a company that’s respected across the UAE’s booming interior design industry.
- Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere — no two days are exactly the same.
- Opportunities for learning and growth; we promote from within whenever possible.
Here, you’ll find more than just a job — you’ll have the chance to be part of a team that takes pride in bringing beautiful spaces to life, one project (and one safe journey) at a time.
