What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing and maintaining the factory’s electrical distribution board, ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant with safety standards.
- Conducting regular inspections of electrical components, wiring, and systems to catch potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults using both manual tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Responding to urgent electrical breakdowns, prioritizing quick and effective solutions to minimize production downtime.
- Performing preventative maintenance and keeping detailed records of repairs, upgrades, and inspections.
- Collaborating closely with the production team and other technical staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing electrical systems for greater efficiency and safety.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and participating in regular safety training sessions.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid electrician certification or diploma (ITI, diploma, or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with industrial electrical systems, preferably in a factory or manufacturing setting.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills — you’re comfortable getting your hands dirty and thinking on your feet.
