Responsibilities

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and maintaining the factory’s electrical distribution boards and related systems.
• Conducting regular inspections of electrical components, wiring, and equipment to detect hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical malfunctions, both planned and in response to emergencies, to minimize operational downtime.
• Performing repairs, replacements, and upgrades of electrical equipment, ensuring all work adheres to factory standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with other maintenance and production team members to coordinate repairs and prevent disruptions to factory processes.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Implementing preventive maintenance schedules for all critical electrical systems and machinery.
• Staying up-to-date with best practices and new technologies in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Adhering strictly to all local, national, and factory-specific safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Proven hands-on experience as an electrician in an industrial or factory setting, preferably in the feed, food processing, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including distribution boards, control panels, and heavy machinery wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and common hand tools.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or industrial maintenance (such as a technical diploma, trade license, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated commitment to occupational safety and adherence to factory safety protocols.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
