About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Do you find joy in transforming a handful of blooms into something unforgettable? We’re on the lookout for a talented and experienced Florist to brighten our busy shop in Abu Dhabi. This is more than just arranging bouquets — it’s about bringing a sense of artistry and care into every order, whether it’s a grand event or a heartfelt gesture. If you love working with flowers and people in equal measure, this could be the perfect next step for your career.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Alzahiya, our boutique flower shop has become a go-to spot for fresh, inspired floral creations. We’re a small, tight-knit team who genuinely enjoy the rhythm of our days — from early-morning flower deliveries to the final touches on a bridal bouquet. Our shop thrives on creativity, trust, and a genuine passion for what we do. It’s not unusual to find us brainstorming new arrangement ideas over coffee, or swapping stories about our favorite seasonal blooms. At our core, we believe that flowers have the power to make any moment special.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and crafting unique floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and special occasions — always with an eye for detail and client preferences.
  • Advising customers on flower selection, care tips, and creative ways to personalize their arrangements.
  • Staying current on floral trends, seasonal varieties, and new techniques to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Managing inventory: receiving, conditioning, and caring for flowers to ensure everything in the shop looks vibrant and healthy.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and placing orders to maintain just the right balance of stock.
  • Maintaining a tidy, inviting workspace — because presentation matters to us as much as the flowers themselves!
  • Occasionally assisting with shop displays, window arrangements, and in-store merchandising.
  • Providing cheerful, knowledgeable service to every client who walks through our door.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as a florist, with a strong portfolio of floral arrangements (show us your creativity!).
  • Solid knowledge of flower types, care techniques, and the ability to work with both classic and contemporary styles.
  • Friendly, approachable manner — excellent customer service is a must.
  • Attention to detail, with a knack for balancing color, shape, and design.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and busy periods.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi, especially the Alzahiya area.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with event floristry (weddings, corporate functions, etc.).
  • A flair for visual merchandising or social media showcasing floral designs.
  • Arabic language skills.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, market-based salary (discussed during interview).
  • Supportive, friendly team environment where your creativity is genuinely valued.
  • Opportunities to experiment with new designs and contribute ideas — we love fresh thinking.
  • Well-stocked workspace with high-quality materials and tools.
  • Flexible scheduling and understanding management, especially during busy seasons.
  • Convenient location in Alzahiya, with easy access for both staff and clients.

We believe that a happy team creates the most beautiful work, and we’re committed to making our shop a place where you’ll look forward to every day. If you’re ready to share your passion for flowers and grow your skills in a dynamic setting, we can’t wait to meet you.
