About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you someone who sees more than just flowers—who sees the possibilities and stories in every stem and petal? If you’re a seasoned florist with a flair for transforming blooms into unforgettable arrangements, we’d love to meet you. We’re looking for a talented floral designer to join our team full-time right here in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi. This is a wonderful chance for someone who wants to craft beauty on a daily basis and leave their mark on events, exhibitions, and everyday moments alike.

About the Company

Step into a workplace that’s more like an artist’s studio than a shop. Our boutique flower studio thrives on creativity, collaboration, and heart—the kind you can actually feel as soon as you walk through our doors. Here, every team member is a “bloomsmith” in their own right, and we take pride in celebrating life’s big (and small) moments with our unique arrangements. Quick team huddles with fresh croissants, spontaneous brainstorming for weddings and launches, and the satisfying rustle of fresh wrapping at the end of a busy day—these are a few of our favorite things.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Crafting stunning floral arrangements for a wide range of events—from intimate gatherings and grand exhibitions to eye-catching in-shop displays.
  • Consulting with clients and event planners to dream up designs that fit every occasion’s personality.
  • Managing the maintenance and rotation of fresh stock, ensuring our flowers always look—and last—their absolute best.
  • Coordinating with fellow florists to prep and deliver arrangements, especially during high-volume peak seasons.
  • Keeping our studio a tidy, inspiring place to work (yes, that means finding creative homes for leftover petals…).
  • Sometimes sourcing unique blooms or decorative accents based on client requests or trending styles in the floral world.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Demonstrated expertise in floral design and arrangement, particularly for events, exhibitions, and retail spaces.
  • A solid track record of meeting deadlines—especially when there’s no room for error.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a flexible, friendly approach to busy days.
  • A valid, transferable residency permit or visa in the UAE.
  • Keen attention to detail—from color theory to the final ribbon bow.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience training or mentoring junior florists on the team.
  • A little black book of local suppliers or growers (always a bonus!).
  • Comfort communicating in English and/or Arabic.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and reliable, always-on-time pay.
  • Supportive team culture—everyone helps out, no matter the rush.
  • Opportunities to showcase your arrangements in some of Abu Dhabi’s most elegant venues.
  • Tasteful studio space with plenty of natural light (and fresh coffee brewing most mornings).
  • Career growth: hone your craft, design for bigger events, or even help shape our store’s next chapter.
  • Flexible shift rotations where possible, with generous leave for special occasions.

At the end of the day, if you love working with people as much as you love working with flowers, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For an experienced floral designer in Abu Dhabi, you should expect a salary in the range of 4,000 to 6,000 AED per month, depending on your expertise and the complexity of event work you manage. Similar roles in boutique studios or event-focused floristry often fall within this range, especially for those with a strong portfolio and hands-on skills in both retail and large-scale arrangements. If you bring specialized event experience or supervisory skills, aiming toward the higher end of this range is reasonable.
