Responsibilities

As a Gardener, you will play a key role in ensuring that outdoor areas are well-maintained, visually appealing, and safe for all. Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Planting, watering, and nurturing flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Fertilizing, pruning, and trimming plants to promote healthy growth
• Mowing lawns, edging borders, and managing weed control
• Cleaning and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
• Monitoring plant health and identifying any signs of pests or diseases
• Applying pesticides and fertilizers safely and as required
• Assisting with landscape design projects as guided by supervisors
• Ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free from debris
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Gardener in a professional setting
• At least a high school education or equivalent
• Solid understanding of plant care, landscaping techniques, and general horticultural practices
• Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening tools and machinery
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from supervisors
• Basic communication skills in English are preferred
