About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever walked into a place and just felt instantly welcome? That’s the vibe we’re chasing at Padel Batch. We’re on the hunt for a friendly, sharp, and organized female staff member to join our team and help keep our courts buzzing. This isn’t just about handing over keys and taking payments — it’s about being the face of our club, the person who makes sure every player’s experience is smooth, from the moment they book to the moment they leave.

About the Company

Padel Batch isn’t your average sports facility. We’re a growing hub for the sport, a place where regulars know each other by name and newcomers are welcomed like old friends. Think less corporate gym, more lively community club — the kind where the energy is contagious and the coffee machine is always on. We’re passionate about the game, but we’re just as passionate about the people who play it. Our team is small, close-knit, and we genuinely look out for each other. If you like being part of something that feels like it’s on the up and up, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same, but here’s the core of what you’ll be handling:

  • Managing the booking system — receiving reservations over the phone, via WhatsApp, or in person, and making sure the schedule is always clear, accurate, and conflict-free. You’ll be the master of the calendar.
  • Keeping a close eye on daily revenues — reconciling payments, following up on any outstanding accounts, and making sure the numbers at the end of the day match up. It’s detail work, but it’s the backbone of our operations.
  • Being the go-to person for our players — greeting them warmly, answering questions, handling special requests, and sorting out any hiccups with a calm, can-do attitude. You’re the person who turns a good visit into a great one.
  • Communicating with customers — whether it's confirming bookings, reaching out about upcoming tournaments, or just chatting about the day’s matches, you’ll keep the conversation friendly and professional.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s as reliable as they are personable. Here’s what we’d love to see:

Must-Haves:

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English — you’ll be switching between the two seamlessly, depending on who’s in front of you.
  • A natural warmth and politeness — you genuinely enjoy helping people, and it shows in how you handle even the most demanding customer.
  • Sharp organizational skills — you can juggle bookings, payments, and follow-ups without dropping the ball. Accuracy is your thing.
  • A responsible, independent streak — you’re comfortable owning the front desk and handling things on your own when needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a similar role — whether it’s in a sports club, a hotel, or a front-of-house position, we’d love to hear about it.
  • Familiarity with padel or racket sports — not required, but it definitely helps to understand the rhythm of the game and the needs of the players.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Let’s be honest — a job is a job, but a good workplace is a game-changer. Here’s what you can expect:

  • A friendly, supportive team — you won’t be just a number here. We know each other’s names, and we help each other out.
  • A lively environment — if you like being around active, social people, this is the place for you. The energy is real.
  • Flexible working hours — we’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits your life.
  • A chance to grow — as Padel Batch expands, there’s room for you to grow with us. We’re not a static company, and we reward initiative.
  • The satisfaction of a job well done — there’s something genuinely nice about being the person who keeps everything running smoothly.

At the end of the day, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that’s building something special. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • How do you approach managing a busy booking schedule when you have walk-ins, phone calls, and WhatsApp messages all coming in at the same time? Walk me through your process for keeping everything accurate and conflict-free.

  • Can you give an example of a time when you had to deal with an upset or demanding customer? What did you say or do to turn the situation around?

  • The club relies on you to reconcile daily revenues and follow up on outstanding accounts. How would you handle a situation where the numbers at the end of the day just don’t match up?

  • Since you’ll often be the only staff member at the front desk, how do you stay organized and calm when you’re juggling multiple responsibilities on your own?

  • What does great customer service mean to you in a community-focused sports club like ours, where regulars know each other by name and newcomers need a warm welcome?

  • Imagine a player calls to book a court, but the schedule is completely full. How would you handle that conversation, and what would you do to make sure they still leave with a positive impression?

  • Tell me about a time you had to switch between languages or adapt your communication style depending on who you were talking to. How did you manage that smoothly?

  • How would you handle a situation where you notice a recurring issue with the booking system — like double bookings or missed reservations? What steps would you take to fix it?

  • We’re a small, close-knit team where everyone helps each other out. Can you share an experience where you went beyond your job description to support a colleague or help the business run better?

  • If a regular player comes in after a tough match and seems frustrated, how would you read that and engage with them? What’s your instinct in that moment?

  • The club is growing, and we reward initiative. Is there a time you spotted an opportunity to improve a process or make something run more smoothly, and you just took the lead

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

Based on the responsibilities and the nature of this front-of-house role, a fair starting point for you would be between AED 4,000 and AED 6,000 per month. Similar customer service and coordination roles in Dubai’s sports and leisure sector usually offer this range, especially since your bilingual skills in Arabic and English are a valuable asset. Since the company mentions growth and rewards initiative, aim for the higher end of that scale if you bring prior front-desk or booking system experience.
