What You’ll Be Doing
- Keep our living spaces clean and cozy — from dusting the shelves to making beds, you’ll help our home stay a welcoming retreat.
- Wash and iron clothes for all family members, ensuring we always look our best.
- Organize and maintain the kitchen with care, so everything is in its place when it’s time to cook.
- Prepare and cook Arabic meals on a daily basis (don’t worry, family favorites and tips included).
- Support the routines and special occasions—be it setting the table, running a quick errand, or helping things run smoothly during family gatherings.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a housemaid, domestic helper, or cook in a private home.
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes (from simple homestyle to festive occasions).
- Basic laundry and ironing skills, with an eye for detail.
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and a discreet, respectful approach to private family life.
- Good communication in English (or Arabic is a bonus!).
- Valid references from previous households.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with Indian, Filipino, or Habesha families.
- Willingness to learn our family’s favorite recipes (and maybe share a few of your own).
- Flexibility to help out with occasional errands or extra tasks during holidays.
