What You’ll Be Doing
- Extending and installing internet cables across key areas of Al Hamriya Port 1, ensuring neat, secure, and reliable connections.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members to plan routes, pull cables, and troubleshoot any on-the-spot issues.
- Applying your experience from previous cable extension or camera wiring jobs to handle unexpected challenges.
- Using hand tools and basic testing equipment to check connections and maintain safety standards.
- Respecting safety protocols and port regulations—your attention to detail keeps the site running smoothly.
- Working efficiently within a 10-hour shift, including one hour for rest (because everyone needs a break to recharge).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous hands-on experience in extending network cables; experience with CCTV/camera cables is a big plus.
- Willingness to work a 10-hour day for approximately 10 days straight.
- Responsible attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and some lifting.
- Preference given to Indian or Pakistani workers, in line with the team’s current composition.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Al Hamriya Port or similar work environments.
- Basic knowledge of network testing tools.
