About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you ready to take the next step in your tailoring career and make your mark in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s fashion scene? As our Tailoring Supervisor, you’ll do more than just oversee stitches and seams — you’ll lead a close-knit team in delivering garments that wow our clients and uphold our commitment to craftsmanship. If you thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment and love the satisfaction of seeing a project through from design to delivery, this could be your perfect fit.

About the Company

We’re not your average tailoring house. Our studio is a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation, where expert hands bring modern and classic designs to life. Here, attention to detail isn’t just a skill — it’s a shared passion. You’ll find a team that genuinely cares about their craft (and maybe debates the merits of French seams vs. flat-felled over lunch). We’re growing quickly, but we haven’t lost our personal touch: weekly design reviews, spontaneous coffee runs, and a collective drive to set new standards in Abu Dhabi’s fashion industry are just part of our rhythm.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of talented tailors to hit quality and delivery targets
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations in the workshop — from fabric cutting to final fittings
  • Implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control protocols to ensure every garment meets our standards
  • Training team members on new techniques, safety procedures, and workflow improvements
  • Coordinating project timelines, allocating tasks, and solving last-minute challenges with a calm, can-do attitude
  • Liaising with designers, clients, and suppliers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth communication
  • Monitoring inventory of fabrics and materials, and assisting with procurement decisions
  • Keeping detailed records of orders, adjustments, and production progress
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement and pride in our craftsmanship

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in tailoring and garment construction (atelier or workshop setting preferred)
  • Proven track record of supervising or leading small teams
  • Deep knowledge of tailoring techniques, fabric types, and garment finishing methods
  • Sharp eye for detail and passion for quality — nothing gets past you!
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple orders and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field
  • Experience with bespoke, high-end, or custom tailoring
  • Familiarity with workflow management software or digital order tracking
  • Previous work in a multicultural or international environment

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary, plus performance-based incentives
  • Modern, well-equipped workshop in a prime Abu Dhabi location
  • Supportive, friendly team that celebrates creativity and shared wins
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth
  • Flexible scheduling options and respect for work-life balance
  • Staff discounts on custom garments (looking sharp is encouraged!)
  • Regular team gatherings, design showcases, and a collaborative atmosphere

We’re passionate about what we do and proud of what we create. If you share that pride and want to help shape the future of tailoring in Abu Dhabi, you’ll feel right at home with us.
