What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of talented tailors to hit quality and delivery targets
- Overseeing day-to-day operations in the workshop — from fabric cutting to final fittings
- Implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control protocols to ensure every garment meets our standards
- Training team members on new techniques, safety procedures, and workflow improvements
- Coordinating project timelines, allocating tasks, and solving last-minute challenges with a calm, can-do attitude
- Liaising with designers, clients, and suppliers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth communication
- Monitoring inventory of fabrics and materials, and assisting with procurement decisions
- Keeping detailed records of orders, adjustments, and production progress
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement and pride in our craftsmanship
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in tailoring and garment construction (atelier or workshop setting preferred)
- Proven track record of supervising or leading small teams
- Deep knowledge of tailoring techniques, fabric types, and garment finishing methods
- Sharp eye for detail and passion for quality — nothing gets past you!
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple orders and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field
- Experience with bespoke, high-end, or custom tailoring
- Familiarity with workflow management software or digital order tracking
- Previous work in a multicultural or international environment
