About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself wishing for a peaceful, well-kept home where you can truly relax after a long day? If so, you’ll understand why finding the right housemaid means so much to us. We’re searching for a caring, trustworthy, and responsible housemaid who not only keeps things sparkling clean but can also bring a touch of homestyle Arabic cooking to our daily routine. If you value honesty, hold strong moral values, and are looking for a stable, welcoming environment (with no children to look after), this might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
About Us
We’re a small household rooted in traditional Arabic values, and our home reflects that heritage — from the way we gather for meals to the respect and warmth that fills every room. While we appreciate hard work, we also believe a good day’s work should feel rewarding, not overwhelming. Our team is small (just you and us!), and we see our housemaid as part of the family. We enjoy the simple things: a tidy living space, the aroma of freshly prepared meals, and a calm, honest atmosphere. Fridays are often for rest and reflection, but we also like to keep things flexible and fair.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our home clean and organized — from dusting and sweeping to laundry and ironing.
- Preparing simple Arabic dishes (think: stews, rice, or salads) or following easy family recipes.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness after meals, including dishes and surfaces.
- Respecting household routines, privacy, and traditions.
- Occasionally assisting with grocery organization or light shopping (rarely).
- Communicating openly if you need help or guidance — we’re here to support you.
What You’ll Bring
- Must-Haves:
- A strong sense of honesty and trustworthiness — we value character above all.
- Respect for God and moral values in daily life.
- Experience with household cleaning and organizing.
- Basic knowledge of Arabic cooking, or a willingness to learn.
- Reliability and a calm, positive attitude.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience in a similar home environment.
- Ability to speak or understand some Arabic.
- Initiative to suggest improvements or new meal ideas.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: starting at 1100–1200 (first month as trial), with increases up to 1300 based on performance and trust.
- Supportive, respectful home environment — you’ll be treated with kindness and fairness.
- No childcare responsibilities; your focus is solely on the home.
- Opportunity to improve your cooking skills and learn new dishes.
- Room for growth — as trust and familiarity build, so do your benefits.
- Regular days off and a flexible approach to personal needs.
- A chance to work in a truly traditional Arabic setting, where you’re valued as a person, not just an employee.
We understand that trust goes both ways. If you’re searching for a stable, respectful household where you can contribute your skills and feel appreciated, our home could be the right fit for you.
