Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, offering insights to support business decisions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations, internal policies, and relevant international accounting standards.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, tracking performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to accounting procedures, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, offering financial insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional accounting role, ideally within the food industry or a similar fast-moving sector.
• Age Requirement: Applicants should be under 35 years old.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting and financial management software (such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).
• Analytical Ability: Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated track record of accurate data analysis and problem-solving.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
