About the Opportunity

An established Decoration company located in the New Industrial Area of Umm Al Quwain, UAE, is looking for a proficient Accountant to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Daily Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive daily accounting reports to the management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial information.
• Accounting Software Expertise: Utilize Tally and Odoo software for all accounting tasks including data entry, bookkeeping, and financial tracking.
• Banking & LC Management: Handle all banking operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), ensuring compliance with financial protocols and timelines.
• Document Clearance: Oversee the clearance of financial and administrative documents, liaising with banks and relevant authorities as needed.
• Payroll Processing: Administer and process WPI (Wages Protection Insurance) payroll, guaranteeing punctual and accurate salary disbursals.
• Inventory Arrangement: Organize and manage inventory records, coordinating with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure item availability and accuracy.
• Item Management Oversight: Monitor and control item flow within the company, updating records and reconciling discrepancies as they arise.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Professional Experience: Demonstrable experience as an Accountant, preferably within the UAE industrial or decoration sector.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of Tally and Odoo accounting software is essential.
• Banking Acumen: Proven track record in managing Letters of Credit (LC) and various banking operations.
• Payroll Administration: Experience in processing WPI payroll and a solid understanding of UAE labor compliance.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and maintain meticulous records.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting, document handling, and inventory management.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying financial irregularities and proposing effective solutions.
• Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
