Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be entrusted with a variety of important tasks that contribute to the daily success of the garage. Your main duties will include:

• Purchasing Car Parts: Drive to local suppliers and vendors to procure essential car parts and materials as requested by the service team.
• Vehicle Transportation: Safely transport customer and company vehicles to and from car wash facilities, ensuring each vehicle is handled with care and professionalism.
• RTA Test Center Visits: Drive vehicles to RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) test passing centers, ensuring all required documentation and standards are met for each visit.
• Pre-Submission Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of each vehicle prior to RTA submission, identifying any faults or compliance issues and reporting them to the garage supervisor.
• Supporting Garage Operations: Assist with additional driving tasks and errands as needed, such as bringing vehicles in for repair or delivery, and supporting colleagues during busy periods.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Valid UAE Driving License: Mandatory for this position, with a proven record of safe driving within the UAE.
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within the automotive or garage sector, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Sharjah and Surrounding Areas: Familiarity with local routes, RTA test centers, and car parts suppliers will be advantageous.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot vehicle faults and ensure compliance with RTA requirements.
• Reliability and Integrity: Dependable work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to upholding the garage’s reputation for quality and trustworthiness.
• Communication Skills: Capable of clear communication with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
• Physical Fitness: Able to handle the physical aspects of the job, including driving for extended periods and inspecting vehicles.
