Responsibilities

As a florist with us, your expertise will be central to our daily operations and customer satisfaction. Your main duties will include:

• Designing and crafting bespoke floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, such as weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and everyday celebrations.
• Consulting with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on flower selection, arrangement styles, and care instructions.
• Managing inventory, including receiving fresh stock, monitoring flower quality, and ensuring all materials are stored and handled correctly for maximum freshness.
• Keeping up-to-date with seasonal trends and incorporating them into your work to offer clients the latest in floral design.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Assisting with shop displays to create an inviting and visually appealing atmosphere for walk-in clients.
• Cooperating with team members to fulfill large orders, support peak periods, and provide seamless customer service.

Requirements

We are searching for a florist who brings both experience and passion to the role. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in professional floral arrangement and design, preferably in a retail or boutique flower shop setting.
• In-depth knowledge of flowers, greenery, and plants—including care techniques, handling, and seasonal availability.
• Strong sense of color theory, composition, and design aesthetics.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate warmly and effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, even during busy periods.
• Organizational skills for inventory management and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area, especially Alzahiya, is highly desirable and will be given preference.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine love for flowers and floral artistry.
