Responsibilities

As a housemaid in this household, you will assume a variety of important duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the home. Key responsibilities include:

• Household Cleaning:

  • Daily cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, living area, kitchen, and bathrooms
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization for both adults and children

• Childcare:

  • Providing attentive care for two children, aged 8 and 4
  • Assisting with morning and bedtime routines
  • Preparing and serving age-appropriate meals and snacks
  • Supervising playtime, educational activities, and outdoor outings
  • Ensuring the children’s safety and well-being at all times

• Organization & Daily Chores:

  • Keeping common areas tidy and clutter-free
  • Organizing toys, books, and children’s belongings
  • Monitoring household supplies and informing the family when restocking is needed
  • Light meal preparation as required

• Family Integration:

  • Adapting to the family’s routines, values, and preferences
  • Demonstrating reliability, trustworthiness, and a caring attitude

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience:

  • Proven track record as a housemaid or nanny, preferably in a live-in capacity
  • Strong skills in cleaning, organizing, and childcare

• Language Skills:

  • Fluent spoken and written English is essential to communicate effectively with the family and children

• Legal Status:

  • Must possess a valid visa and Emirates ID for employment in Abu Dhabi

• Personal Qualities:

  • Mature, responsible, and committed to long-term employment
  • Honest, respectful, and able to maintain confidentiality
