Position Overview

An Abu Dhabi-based family in Shakhbout City is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Nanny to provide attentive care to a newborn baby. This is a three-month opportunity, ideal for a nurturing individual who can also assist with light household chores in a cozy one-bedroom apartment. The role is specifically seeking a Muslim nanny, in alignment with the family’s values and household preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Newborn Care:

  • Provide attentive and loving care to a newborn, including feeding, changing, bathing, and soothing the baby as needed.
  • Monitor the baby's health and well-being, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Follow the parents’ guidelines for routines, sleep schedules, and feeding times.

• Household Assistance:

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized living space.
  • Assist with meal preparation or simple kitchen duties as required.
  • Support in organizing baby supplies and ensuring the apartment remains orderly.

• Communication:

  • Maintain open, respectful communication with the family regarding the baby’s activities, needs, and any household matters.
  • Collaborate with the family to ensure a smooth daily routine and harmonious living environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Religious Preference:

  • The position is open to Muslim female candidates only, in keeping with family requirements.

• Experience & Attributes:

  • Previous experience caring for newborns or infants is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates a positive, kind, and gentle demeanor.
  • Hardworking, trustworthy, and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to handle the demands of newborn care with patience and grace.

• Legal Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid own visa for the UAE.
  • Willingness to commit to the full three-month duration.

• Availability:

  • Willing to work as a live-in nanny, residing in the family’s apartment.
  • Comfortable with the schedule of two days off per month.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary:

  • Competitive salary range of AED 1,500 to AED 1,800 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

• Additional Allowances:

  • Food provided throughout the employment period.
  • Phone allowance included to support personal communication needs.

  • Accommodation provided within a comfortable one-bedroom apartment in Shakhbout City, Abu Dhabi.
