Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed private female tutor to support the academic journey of two bright young learners in the Abu Dhabi Maqta Area. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a personalized, one-on-one teaching environment and is eager to foster a love of learning in children. The tutor will work closely with a supportive family, providing tailored educational guidance to children aged 5 and 8 who are enrolled in a British school.

Responsibilities

• Individualized Tutoring: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for a 5-year-old, with a focus on early years education, including phonics and foundational mathematics.
• Curriculum Support: Guide and assist the 8-year-old in core British curriculum subjects—math, science, and English—ensuring a clear understanding of key concepts and helping to build strong academic skills.
• Lesson Planning: Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet each child’s unique needs, keeping sessions interactive, motivating, and fun.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess the students’ academic progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Parental Communication: Maintain open, professional communication with parents to discuss progress, challenges, and goals.
• Learning Environment: Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment that inspires confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Requirements

• Gender Requirement: Female candidates, in alignment with family preferences.
• Location: Must be available for in-person tutoring in the Abu Dhabi Maqta Area.
• Experience: Proven experience working with children in early education, especially ages 5 to 8.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the British educational system, including the early years foundation stage (EYFS) and primary curriculum.
• Subject Expertise: Confident in teaching phonics and early math for the younger child, as well as math, science, and English for the older student.
• Teaching Approach: Proactive, creative, and engaging, with the ability to make lessons enjoyable and suited to young learners’ interests.
• Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and organized, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s educational development.
• Language: Proficient in English, with clear communication skills.
