Responsibilities

As a Roustabout, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the rig. Your primary focus will be to support the smooth functioning of rig activities while adhering to all safety protocols. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with Rig Setup and Dismantling:
  Help assemble and dismantle rig equipment and machinery, ensuring all components are properly installed and secured.

• Routine Maintenance:
  Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on rig equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

• Material Handling:
  Move, load, and unload equipment and supplies as needed, utilizing appropriate lifting techniques and safety gear.

• Supporting Drilling Operations:
  Work closely with drillers and other crew members to facilitate safe and efficient drilling operations.

• Housekeeping and Safety:
  Maintain a clean and organized work area, promptly addressing any potential hazards and adhering to all company safety policies.

• Assisting with Emergency Procedures:
  Be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies by participating in regular safety drills and following established protocols.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Physical Fitness:
  Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work long hours, and withstand challenging weather conditions both onshore and offshore.

• Previous Experience:
  Prior experience as a Roustabout or in a similar capacity within the oil and gas industry is preferred.
