Responsibilities

• Cutting and Sewing: Accurately cut various fabrics and expertly sew garments such as dresses, jalabiyas, and abayas in line with provided patterns and specifications.
• Pattern Interpretation: Read, interpret, and adapt patterns, ensuring each item meets design intentions and client preferences.
• Fitting Management: Conduct fittings with clients, make precise alterations, and adjust garments for the perfect fit and finish.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship, inspecting finished products for consistency, durability, and flawless presentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers and team members to translate creative visions into tangible pieces, providing input on fabric choices and construction techniques.
• Time Management: Organize workflow efficiently to meet deadlines for both standard orders and custom requests.
• Maintenance: Care for equipment and workspaces, ensuring all tools are in optimal condition and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background in tailoring women’s clothing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skill in dresses, jalabiyas, and abayas.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of advanced cutting and sewing techniques, including hand-finishing, hemming, and use of specialized sewing machines.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in measurements, pattern cutting, and assembly, ensuring each garment meets exacting standards.
• Fabric Knowledge: In-depth understanding of different fabrics, their properties, and appropriate handling techniques.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues, understanding and interpreting style preferences and feedback.

• Residency: Willingness and ability to work full-time on-site in Al Murror, Abu Dhabi.
