What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly documented
- Preparing and analyzing regular financial reports (think monthly statements, budget overviews, and more)
- Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies before they become issues
- Handling day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and expense tracking
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UAE financial regulations and internal policies
- Assisting with audits and providing clear documentation to support findings
- Liaising with internal teams and external partners to clarify financial data when needed
- Using accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience working in the UAE
- Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, anyone?)
