Responsibilities

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a central role in shaping the organization’s financial health. Your primary duties will include:

• Managing and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure all transactions are properly documented and classified.
• Preparing comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Overseeing accounting operations related to manufacturing, such as cost accounting, inventory management, and process optimization.
• Utilizing Odoo and other accounting software tools to streamline accounting processes, generate reports, and support management decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with internal departments to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Assisting with audits, tax filings, and external reporting as required by management and governing bodies.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and providing recommendations for best practices in financial management.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a demonstrated background in preparing financial statements and managing accounts.
• Expertise in Odoo ERP and other leading accounting software platforms, with a proven ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing accounting, including handling production costs, inventory, and cost allocation.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid employment visa for the UAE and the ability to work full-time in Abu Dhabi.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA) are an advantage.
