About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself the unofficial “organizer” in any group—making sense of the chaos, keeping things running, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks? That’s exactly the quality we’re looking for in our next Administrative Assistant here in Deira, Dubai. If helping a team hum along smoothly gives you that quiet sense of accomplishment, you might be just the person we need. Reliable, detail-oriented, and always ready to lend a hand—that’s the kind of energy we’d love to bring into our office.
About the Company
We’re a growing business based in the heart of Deira, blending local roots with a modern approach to teamwork. Our office is a small but spirited space where everyone pitches in—from the manager rolling up their sleeves to the impromptu birthday celebrations that somehow always involve cake. We value trust, clear communication, and a sense of humor—especially on busy Mondays. It’s the kind of place where your effort is noticed, and your input has real impact on how we work every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping daily office routines on track, from opening the doors to organizing supply runs
- Maintaining and updating files—both digital and paper—so information is always at your fingertips
- Scheduling meetings and appointments (and sending the friendly reminders that keep us all on time)
- Assisting with document preparation, printing, and scanning—think contracts, invoices, and memos
- Greeting visitors or clients with a smile—sometimes you’re the first impression people get
- Supporting the team with general office tasks—no task too small, no detail overlooked
- Lending your tech-savvy (MS Word & Excel) to streamline spreadsheets or keep reports neat
- Jumping in with ad-hoc tasks as the day demands, because flexibility is part of the job
What You’ll Bring
- Basic working knowledge of MS Word and Excel—you don’t need to be a programmer, just comfortable and willing to learn
- Friendly, clear communication skills (whether in person, on the phone, or by email)
- Good organizational instincts—you remember details others forget
- A responsible, proactive attitude—if you see a mess, you fix it before being asked
- Previous office admin experience is helpful, but not required for a fast learner
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you—sometimes the perfect fit is about attitude, not just your CV.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED 2,500–3,500, based on your experience
- Positive, team-focused atmosphere—support is part of our culture
- Convenient Deira location, close to cafes, shopping, and public transport
- Regular office hours (no late-night surprises)
- Opportunity to learn and grow—pick up new skills, try your hand at different office tasks
- We believe in work-life balance: weekends are truly your own
Here, you’re more than a cog in the wheel—you’re part of the team. If you care about making the office a place where everyone works a little better (and enjoys it a little more), we think you’ll fit right in.
