We are urgently looking for an experienced Agricultural and Irrigation Technician as well as energetic Labourers to help drive our mission of efficient and responsible farming. Your work will play a vital role in supporting local agriculture, ensuring optimal crop growth, and maintaining advanced irrigation systems in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

For Agricultural and Irrigation Technician:

• Install, configure, and repair various irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler setups, ensuring optimal water distribution to crops.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all irrigation infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in pumps, valves, pipes, and controllers, implementing timely solutions to keep systems operational.
• Collaborate with agricultural staff to develop irrigation schedules based on soil, crop, and weather data.
• Maintain detailed records of system performance, repairs, and water usage, contributing to ongoing improvements in farming practices.
• Train and guide labourers in basic maintenance tasks and safe operation of irrigation equipment.
• Support crop cultivation through soil preparation, fertilization, and monitoring to achieve healthy plant growth.

For Labourers:

• Assist in the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems by digging trenches, laying pipes, and handling tools.
• Perform manual tasks such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and general field work under the supervision of the technician or supervisor.
• Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of farming equipment and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Support the transport and organization of supplies, materials, and harvested crops as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and instructions, maintaining a productive and secure work environment.

Requirements

Agricultural and Irrigation Technician:

• Proven experience in agricultural fieldwork and irrigation system management, preferably in drip and sprinkler systems.
• Solid understanding of modern irrigation technologies, installation procedures, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail when addressing system faults and inefficiencies.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Labourers:

• Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual tasks for extended periods.
• Previous experience in agriculture or landscaping is an advantage, but not essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully.
• Comfortable working outdoors and collaborating in a team environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.
