What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and configuring CCTV systems in residential and commercial settings—no two jobs are quite the same.
- Setting up and maintaining smart door locks and electronic access control systems to keep client properties secure.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Troubleshooting and repairing security equipment, sometimes on the fly (because things don’t always go as planned).
- Collaborating with clients to explain system functions and provide user training with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Keeping detailed records of work done, materials used, and recommending upgrades or improvements when needed.
- Managing your own tasks and schedules independently, with a knack for problem-solving under pressure.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with CCTV system installation and maintenance.
- Proven skills in installing and configuring smart door locks and access control systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Strong sense of independence—you’re comfortable working solo and taking initiative.
- A proactive attitude and good communication skills.
