About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to see your work literally take shape in the skyline around you? As our next Civil Foreman, you won’t just be overseeing a team—you’ll be playing a critical part in making complex projects come alive, step by step, right here in the UAE. If you’re ready for a hands-on leadership role where no two days are quite the same, this opportunity could be the perfect next chapter in your construction journey.
About the Company
We’re a results-driven construction company with projects spanning some of the UAE’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Our management team is approachable, pragmatic, and always quick to recognize a job well done—whether that means a lunch delivered to a site team working late, or a shout-out at our monthly team catch-ups. We take pride in doing things right, from safety standards to site celebrations. Right now, we’re growing fast (that’s where you come in), and we value people who roll up their sleeves, lead by example, and help others along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpreting civil drawings and work plans with accuracy—you’ll be the go-to for clarifying technical details.
- Supervising all daily site operations, keeping a sharp eye on quality, progress, and safety.
- Managing skilled and unskilled manpower, organizing shifts, and keeping teams motivated and engaged.
- Coordinating closely with subcontractors to make sure timelines are met (and expectations are exceeded).
- Monitoring the allocation, use, and upkeep of tools and materials on site—avoiding both excess and shortages.
- Resolving on-the-ground challenges efficiently, so small hiccups don’t become big delays.
- Reporting to your site engineer and project managers, flagging potential issues early and keeping communication lines open.
- Ensuring site housekeeping and safety protocols are always observed—because a tidy site is a safe one.
