About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to keep one of Dubai’s most vibrant downtown hotels sparkling? At Blue Moon Hotel, we’re on the lookout for dedicated housekeeping staff who take genuine pride in every crisp sheet and gleaming surface. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve got stories from years in hospitality, this is your chance to join a close-knit team at the heart of one of the city’s most exciting destinations. If you love the energy of a bustling hotel and the satisfaction of seeing your work shine, you might be just who we’re seeking.
About the Company
Blue Moon Hotel isn’t just a place for guests to rest their heads — it’s where unforgettable Dubai experiences begin. Our team believes the little moments matter: from a warm welcome at the door to rooms that feel like a haven after a busy day. We work hard together, but don’t worry — we know how to have fun too. (Think friendly competitions for room setup speed or spontaneous laughter when someone finds a towel sculpture gone slightly awry.) We value respect, growth, and making every staff member feel at home, no matter where you’re from.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping guest rooms spotless and inviting — making sure every detail is ready, from fresh linens to perfectly-placed pillows
- Handling laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing, folding, and returning perfectly laundered items to where they’re needed
- Assisting guests with luggage, directions, and any special requests — you’re often the first hello and the last goodbye
- Responding quickly to guest needs and special room requirements with a can-do attitude
- Noticing and reporting any maintenance concerns or room issues to the right team, so nothing gets missed
- Pitching in to keep public areas, corridors, elevators, and staff spaces clean and guest-ready
- Supporting your team during busy check-in/check-out times — sometimes it’s all hands on deck!
