About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who finds real joy in seeing children grow, laugh, and learn? We’re looking for a warm and responsible Nanny to join a welcoming family in Mirdif, Dubai—a role that goes far beyond basic care. In this busy household, you’ll become a trusted companion to energetic kids, a reassuring presence during homework struggles, and a creative mind during playtime. If working with children is second nature to you, this could be the meaningful next step you’re seeking.
About the Company
Partnering with one of Dubai’s dedicated family-support recruitment specialists, you’ll be matched with a household that truly values both care and connection. The family is known for their friendly, communicative approach—they appreciate initiative and open conversations (and yes, they wholeheartedly believe in celebrating small moments, like impromptu kitchen dance parties after dinner!). The agency prioritizes a respectful, supportive environment for everyone involved, ensuring that candidates feel guided and set up for success from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Looking after the children, making safety and wellbeing your top priorities at all times
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks—think sandwiches, fruit plates, and the occasional “special request”
- Assisting with homework, spelling, and school projects (patience and encouragement go a long way here)
- Organizing engaging play activities—both indoors and out—to help little minds and bodies stay active
- Creating a clean, tidy space for the children (toys, books, and art supplies included)
- Communicating any concerns or updates to parents in an open, proactive manner
- Occasionally accompanying children on family outings or school runs
What You’ll Bring
- A genuine love for working with children, with patience and warmth at the core of your approach
- Trustworthiness—families need to know they can count on you
- Basic cooking skills for simple child-friendly meals
- Organizational skills to juggle routines, schedules, and activities
- Professionalism, punctuality, and respect for privacy
- Prior nanny or childcare experience is a big plus, but not strictly necessary for the right personality
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Work with a friendly, communicative family who values your experience and input
- Regular working hours and clear expectations (plus support from a well-established recruitment agency)
- The rewarding experience of making a tangible difference in children’s daily lives
- Opportunities for personal growth and learning—every day brings something new
- A supportive community of fellow caregivers in the Dubai area
You’ll join a family that sees their nanny as a partner, not just “the help.” If you love working with children and want to feel heard, respected, and appreciated, this could be just the right fit. (Please note: The recruitment company applies a job application fee as part of their process.)
