About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about working somewhere where your tech skills and love for gaming actually mean something? We’re looking for an Arabic-speaking team member, someone who really “gets” gaming culture and is as comfortable with racing simulators as they are with a graphics card upgrade. If you have experience running the floor at a gaming center and want to be part of Baniyas’ go-to spot for gamers, this could be the place for you.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit team running a bustling cyber gaming center in the heart of Baniyas. For us, gaming isn’t just about fun—it’s about building a welcoming space where players can challenge themselves, connect, and unwind. Our regulars range from casual FPS fans to serious sim racers. We’re hands-on, a little bit geeky, and proud of it. Don’t be surprised if staff tournaments pop up after hours or if you find yourself swapping PC setup tips during a slow night!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting customers in Arabic and helping them get set up on PCs and racing simulators
- Keeping gaming stations in top shape—troubleshooting hardware glitches, software issues, and internet hiccups
- Providing friendly guidance (and the occasional gaming tip) to newcomers and regulars alike
- Assisting with maintenance and upgrades of computers, from swapping GPUs to cable management
- Handling reservations, tracking time, and coordinating overtime or extended sessions for larger groups
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment—because every gamer deserves a great space
- Jumping in wherever needed, from prepping PC stations for tournaments to restocking snacks
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous, hands-on experience at a gaming center or internet café
- Fluent Arabic (spoken and written); strong communication with a customer-first mindset
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware and PC troubleshooting
- Genuine enthusiasm for video games and racing simulators—especially the technical side
- Transferable residence visa within the UAE
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with high-end racing rigs (think Playseat, Logitech, or similar)
- Basic networking know-how (LAN setups, router resets, etc.)
- Comfort with point-of-sale or basic inventory tracking
- Ability to explain game genres or simulator experiences to all ages
Not sure you meet every single requirement? If you’re passionate and have relevant experience, we’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- AED 1,500 all-inclusive salary, plus paid overtime for those longer tournament nights
- Supportive, low-ego colleagues who genuinely love what they do
- Opportunities to learn more about the newest gaming tech and setups
- Central Baniyas location—easily accessible and close to everything
- A relaxed (but busy) environment that treats gamers and staff with respect
- Potential for growth as the center expands and hosts bigger events
We’re more than just a gaming café; we’re a community. If you want a place where skill, passion, and a good-natured rivalry are all part of the job, let’s talk!
