About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to grow a brand in one of the world's most competitive, fast-moving markets? We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager in Dubai who can turn clicks into customers and campaigns into conversations. This isn't a "post and pray" kind of role — it's for someone who genuinely enjoys the puzzle of digital growth, from ranking on Google to making a scroll-stopping ad that actually converts. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, keep reading.
About the Company
We're a growing team based in Dubai with a simple belief: good marketing feels like a conversation, not a billboard. We move fast, we test ideas, and we're not afraid to kill a campaign that isn't working (no ego attached). The marketing team sits close to the founders here, which means your ideas don't get buried in approval chains — they get tested, sometimes within the same week.
We're at that exciting stage where the brand is established enough to have real traction but small enough that one person can genuinely shape the direction. If you've ever wanted your work to be visible rather than one slide in a deck, this is that kind of place.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own our social media presence across platforms — planning, posting, and actually engaging with the community, not just scheduling and disappearing
- Build and manage SEO strategy, from keyword research to on-page optimization and tracking how we rank over time
- Run Google Ads campaigns end to end: setup, budget management, A/B testing, and squeezing better results out of every dirham spent
- Shape our content strategy — deciding what stories we tell, where we tell them, and how they tie back to business goals
- Plan and execute digital campaigns across channels, then report on what worked and what flopped (honestly, we value the flops too)
- Track performance metrics and turn them into clear, jargon-free insights the whole team can act on
- Collaborate with designers, content writers, and occasionally the sales team to keep messaging consistent everywhere
- Stay current with platform changes, algorithm shifts, and new tools — because in this space, standing still is falling behind
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid, hands-on experience in digital marketing, ideally in a similar multi-channel role
- Real fluency in social media marketing, SEO, Google Ads, and content strategy — not just theoretical knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; you can explain a campaign result to a non-marketer without losing them
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities without dropping the ball
- Comfort working with analytics tools and making decisions based on data, not gut feeling alone
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with the UAE/Middle East market and its digital landscape
- A portfolio or case studies showing campaigns you've run and results you've driven
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — skills can be sharpened, but curiosity and drive are harder to teach.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary of AED 6,000 – 8,000 per month, based on your experience and what you bring to the table
- A collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment where your ideas actually get heard
- Real ownership of campaigns — you won't be executing someone else's plan with no say in it
- Room to grow as the team and brand expand
- A Dubai-based role in one of the region's most dynamic digital markets, with all the energy that comes with it
We're not promising ping-pong tables and nap pods — we're promising work that matters, colleagues who respect your input, and a chance to build something you're proud to put your name on. If you're ready to make your mark in Dubai's digital scene, we'd genuinely love to meet you.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through a recent Google Ads campaign you managed from start to finish. What was your budget, how did you structure your A/B tests, and what did the final numbers look like?
- How do you approach keyword research when you're entering a market or niche you're not already familiar with?
- Tell me about a time a campaign completely flopped. What did you learn from it, and how did you communicate that to your team or leadership?
- When organic rankings drop after a Google algorithm update, what's your first move? Can you give me a specific example?
- How do you decide which social platforms deserve the most energy when you're working with a limited budget and a small team?
- Describe how you'd measure whether a content strategy is actually working — beyond likes and shares. What metrics would you bring to a leadership meeting?
- You've got three campaigns live, a designer who's slammed, and a founder asking for results by Friday. How do you prioritize?
- Tell me about a time you had to explain a technical marketing result — like a drop in conversion rate — to someone with zero marketing background. How did you make it land?
- Have you ever disagreed with a founder or senior leader about campaign direction? What happened?
- What's your experience with the UAE or wider Middle East digital landscape? How does consumer behavior here differ from other markets you've worked in?
- Give me an example of a time you took ownership of something outside your job description because you saw it needed doing.
- How do you stay current when platforms like Instagram or Google change their algorithms overnight? Walk me through your actual routine.
- What kind of work environment brings out your best? Be honest — we're a small, fast-moving team and we'd rather know now.
