About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it takes to keep a complex organization running smoothly behind the scenes? As our new Facilities Manager, you’ll be the linchpin ensuring that our buildings, systems, and equipment are always in top shape — so everyone else can focus on what they do best. If you thrive on juggling competing priorities, have a knack for troubleshooting, and love the challenge of making things work better every day, this opportunity could be your next great move.

About the Company

We’re a growing team that takes pride in the spaces we create and maintain — not just for ourselves, but for our clients and partners as well. Here, facilities management isn’t just about fixing what’s broken; it’s about creating environments where people feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to do their best work. We celebrate problem-solvers, value open communication, and aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty when a system needs attention. Friday afternoons sometimes turn into impromptu brainstorming sessions (with coffee, of course), and we genuinely believe that no two days should ever feel the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems across multiple sites
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and regular servicing of air conditioning units, elevators, hoists, air compressors, and pressure vessels
  • Coordinate with external contractors, service providers, tenants, and property managers to ensure projects and repairs run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot urgent issues as they arise — sometimes at a moment’s notice — and implement effective, lasting solutions
  • Monitor building systems for efficiency, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Facilitate seamless project transitions, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing facilities and contribute ideas to make our workspaces better for everyone

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Hands-on experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related technical field
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems — with specific experience maintaining HVAC, elevators, and industrial equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Confident communicator who can liaise with contractors, clients, and team members of all backgrounds
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you don’t just fix issues, you anticipate and prevent them
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in facilities management

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications in facilities management or relevant trades (e.g., CFM, EPA, HVAC, or similar)
  • Prior experience overseeing upgrades, renovations, or special projects
  • Familiarity with building automation systems or digital maintenance platforms

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package plus performance incentives
  • Comprehensive health benefits and paid time off
  • Flexible work arrangements — we know life happens and support a healthy balance
  • Opportunities for professional development and technical training
  • A collaborative, down-to-earth team that values your expertise and input
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work keeps our organization running safely, efficiently, and sustainably

We’re serious about maintaining great facilities — and making sure our people enjoy working in them. If you’re ready to take ownership, grow your skills, and make a real impact, we can’t wait to meet you.
