About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about making a real difference in someone's everyday life? We're currently looking for a compassionate Female Caregiver Assistant to provide valuable support to an elderly lady living with dementia. You’ll be joining a team that already includes a dedicated Filipino caregiver, so if you enjoy working alongside a kind-hearted colleague and truly helping others, this could be a wonderful fit for you.

About the Family

This isn’t a faceless agency or impersonal assignment — you’ll be supporting a real family that genuinely values warmth, trust, and continuity of care. Our current caregiver describes the household as calm and respectful, where routines are appreciated and moments of kindness go a long way. Meals often include a tasty Filipino dish, and there’s always someone to share a warm smile with in the kitchen. We’re a close-knit team here — and your well-being matters, too.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting the main caregiver with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and gentle mobility support for the patient
  • Helping to prepare simple meals, with attention to any dietary needs or preferences
  • Assisting with feeding and ensuring the patient stays hydrated and comfortable throughout the day
  • Engaging the patient in light conversation or activities to provide companionship and support memory
  • Ensuring medications are taken on time (with reminders/checks, not administration)
  • Keeping the patient’s living area tidy and organized, including light housekeeping tasks related to care
  • Accompanying the patient and caregiver on quiet walks or occasional outings, as able
  • Communicating closely with the main caregiver and the family about any changes or concerns

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Female, Filipino nationality (as per the family's preference)
  • Currently residing in the UAE, able to provide immediate support (sponsorship/visit visa preferred)
  • Experience caring for elderly patients, ideally those with dementia or memory loss
  • Patience, empathy, and a gentle approach to care
  • Willingness to work full-time and commit to a 2-year residency arrangement
  • A team spirit — comfortable assisting an experienced caregiver and working closely together

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in a private home care setting
  • Conversational English or Filipino (Tagalog), to foster good communication
  • Basic understanding of healthy meal prep for seniors

Not sure you tick every single box? We’d still love to hear from you — if your heart is in the right place, we care more about your spirit than a resume.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Monthly salary of AED 1,500 (with accommodation, meals, and essentials provided as part of the arrangement)
  • Respectful, friendly household where your well-being is valued
  • Support from a fellow Filipino caregiver who knows the role and offers meaningful guidance
  • Opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s daily comfort and happiness
  • Stable, long-term employment with 2-year residency support
  • Only one patient to focus on, in a low-stress environment
  • Communication with the family and current caregivers is direct and honest — your input and feedback matter

If you’re already in the UAE and looking for full-time, meaningful work in a positive environment, this could be the stability and care you’re seeking. The family requests that you reach out on WhatsApp only to get started, and they encourage you to chat with the current caregiver for real insights into daily life.

  • How do you cope with the emotional challenges that come with caring for someone who may sometimes be confused or agitated?
  • Can you share an example when you had to adapt your approach during a difficult or stressful situation in a caregiving role?

  • Why do you believe you’d be a good fit for a family that values kindness, open communication, and long-term trust?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

This salary reflects typical starting compensation for live-in caregiver roles supporting elderly individuals in private UAE households, especially when accommodation, meals, and essentials are fully provided.
