What You’ll Be Doing
- Applying professional-grade finishes (PU, Duco, Lacquer) on a range of furniture pieces, from intricate décor to large showpieces
- Prepping MDF and solid wood surfaces with care, ensuring a flawless final result
- Blending and matching colors to create customized, client-approved shades
- Troubleshooting finish issues on the fly — if a piece isn’t up to standard, you know how to fix it
- Maintaining a tidy and safe workshop environment (your future teammates will thank you!)
- Collaborating closely with fellow painters and carpenters; we believe every project is a team sport
- Staying updated on new products and application techniques — our clients expect the best, and so do we
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years’ experience in furniture painting (not just any painting—furniture is your canvas)
- Sharp skills with MDF and solid wood, both prepping and finishing
- Hands-on expertise with PU (Polyurethane), Duco, and Lacquer finishing systems
- A knack for precision, patience, and problem-solving under pressure
- Pride in your work and a “good enough isn’t good enough” attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with custom decorative effects (antiquing, distressing, etc.)
- Experience training or leading a small team
- An eye for current industry trends in color and finishing techniques
