What You’ll Be Doing
- Turn detailed shop drawings into dimensionally-accurate wardrobes, cabinets, kitchen units, and decorative wooden fixtures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install furniture using MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, and solid wood—always meeting client specs.
- Set up and safely operate woodworking machines like panel saws, edge banders, and jointers to achieve smooth finishes and precise cuts.
- Team up with fellow carpenters and designers to solve tricky construction challenges (we love a creative solution).
- Oversee finishing touches, making sure every piece meets our high quality standards before installation.
- Keep the workshop and machinery organized and well-maintained, because safety (and pride in our space) matters.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 4–5 years’ hands-on carpentry experience, ideally making wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, and decorative woodwork.
- Real proficiency with all major workshop machinery, wood types (MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood), and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings—turning plans into reality, not just guesses.
- An eye for detail and a craftsman’s sense of responsibility—because the small things really do count.
- Strong teamwork, good communication, and a can-do attitude.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous work on bespoke or high-end residential/commercial projects.
- Experience mentoring junior carpenters or sharing tips with newcomers.
