About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever dreamed of leading a kitchen where your expertise in Arabic cuisine and shawarma really takes center stage? Here’s your chance. Shawarma Al Emprator Cafeteria LLC in Dubai is looking for a seasoned Head Chef who doesn’t just want to manage a team—you're eager to put your creative stamp on our menu and raise the bar for quality. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting where culinary tradition meets innovation, and your leadership style inspires others to bring their best game, we want to meet you.
About the Company
Nestled in the heart of Dubai, Shawarma Al Emprator Cafeteria LLC has quickly become a local favorite for authentic flavors and mouthwatering shawarmas. Our kitchen is a lively, collaborative space where team lunches are common, laughter is encouraged, and every dish tells a story. Growth and pride run deep—many of our chefs started on the line and are now training newcomers. We cherish fresh ideas, punctuality, and the small joys: the sizzle of shawarma on the grill or the first taste test of a new sauce recipe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the kitchen team with clarity—motivating, training, and setting the tone for great service and teamwork.
- Designing, costing, and continuously refining our full Arabic and shawarma menu (think creative specials, not just the staples).
- Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring nothing gets lost in translation between suppliers and the kitchen.
- Upholding uncompromising standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and overall safety—your kitchen is as spotless as your reputation.
- Conducting staff briefings, performance feedback, and fostering a supportive, hands-on kitchen culture.
- Communicating kitchen goals and updates in English—clear, friendly, and efficient.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day hiccups, because in this business, no two shifts are quite the same.
What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience as a Head Chef (or similar senior kitchen role) specializing in Arabic cuisine and shawarma.
- Strong leadership skills—you know how to keep a team motivated and operations running like clockwork, even during rush hours.
- Solid menu and recipe costing experience—accuracy matters, but so does an eye for profit margin.
- Confident proficiency in English, both speaking and reading.
- Deep knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (and a genuine commitment to following them).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary (based on experience) and timely payments—no guessing games here.
- Supportive and hardworking team that pulls together on busy days and celebrates together after.
- Opportunities to create new menu items and leave your signature on Dubai’s evolving food scene.
- Employee meals, uniform provided, and fair scheduling—so you can focus on what you do best.
- Rapid growth means you’ll have a real chance at expanding your role in the near future.
At Shawarma Al Emprator Cafeteria LLC, we believe great chefs deserve a stage worthy of their talent. If you’re ready to lead, innovate, and make your mark, your next kitchen awaits!
