About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Looking for a Trustworthy Housemaid to Join Our Family in Abu Dhabi
Ever wondered what it’s like to become a valued member of someone’s daily life—where your care and attention genuinely make a difference? We’re seeking a full-time Housemaid (preferably from Cameroon or the Philippines) to join our welcoming household on Falah Street, Abu Dhabi. This isn't just about chores; it's about helping a busy family create a comfortable, well-managed home. If you find fulfillment in tidying, meal prep, and those little details that bring order and calm, this could be a wonderful fit.
About Our Home
We’re a warm, caring family living right in the vibrant heart of Abu Dhabi. Life here is busy—and admittedly, our calendar can get a little crowded at times! Still, we always make time for laughter and stories around the dinner table. Respect and trust are central to how we treat everyone under our roof, and we aim to create a home where people feel appreciated and safe. (Insider tip: Cooking a great local dish or sharing music from your hometown is always welcome!)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our house sparkling clean – from daily tidying to deep-cleaning, making sure every corner feels fresh and inviting.
- Preparing family meals – cooking both everyday dishes and occasional special meals (your favorite recipes are absolutely invited!).
- Handling laundry and ironing – taking care with clothing and linen so everything is fresh, neat, and ready to use.
- Helping with groceries and kitchen organization – keeping our pantry neat and our fridge well-stocked.
- Supporting occasional errands or small house tasks – flexibility and a helping hand go a long way here.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Experience in both cooking and cleaning (home or professional background welcome)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed—trust truly matters to our family
- Honest and respectful, with a caring approach to daily work
- Able to follow routines but also take gentle initiative when needed
- Comfort communicating in English (basic conversational will do)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern or Filipino/Cameroonian dishes
- A personable touch—if you’re friendly and enjoy a chat, you’ll fit right in
- Previous experience as a live-in maid in the UAE
Not sure you tick every box? If you bring heart and honesty to your work, we’d love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Generous, on-time salary—plus potential for annual increases based on commitment and care
- A respectful, supportive environment where your work is truly valued
- Comfortable accommodation provided within our household
- All meals included, and time off for rest or personal needs
- Located in bustling Falah Street, with access to nearby amenities and community spots
We believe in fairness, open communication, and giving our housemaid the space and tools she needs to do her best. Here, you’ll be more than “the help”—you’ll be an important part of our home.
