About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to keep a beautiful Dubai home sparkling and organized to the level of a luxury hotel? We’re on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Housemaid to become part of a small, respectful household in the vibrant Tilal Al Ghaf community. If you take genuine pride in your work and have a knack for both high-standard cleaning and delicious Arabic cooking, this is a chance to put your talents to great use—while enjoying the warmth and stability of a welcoming home environment.
About the Family
This isn’t your typical large household with constant hustle and bustle. You’ll be caring for a friendly couple who truly appreciate attention to detail—whether it’s perfectly pressed linens or a hearty home-cooked meal. They value respect, clear communication, and genuine kindness. You’ll find the home itself bright and modern, and you’ll have a defined daily routine (no surprise dinner parties or endless guests to juggle). Many helpers say they felt “at home” from their first week here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deep cleaning of all rooms, ensuring a fresh, organized, hotel-level finish every time
- Preparing tasty and healthy Arabic meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner as needed), with occasional new recipes to try
- Managing laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and caring for delicate garments
- Grocery shopping and restocking household supplies—always keeping an eye for freshness and quality
- Tidying up after meals and maintaining a spotless kitchen
- Light household errands as needed (occasional mail pickup, organizing storage, etc.)
- Respectful, discreet support in all aspects of home life
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- 4–5+ years of professional housemaid experience in the UAE, ideally with references
- Strong cleaning abilities to hotel or luxury apartment standards
- Confident, proven skills in preparing Arabic cuisine (please share a short cooking/cleaning video)
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining order
- Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive in your routine
- Clear communication skills in English or Arabic
Nice-to-Haves
- Past experience in boutique hotels or private residences
- Ability to adapt recipes or suggest simple, nutritious new dishes
- Basic knowledge of healthy food choices or dietary preferences
Not sure you check off every single box? We’d still love to see your skills and hear your story—don’t hesitate to reach out.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary: AED 1,500–1,700 (commensurate with experience)
- Small, respectful household—no childcare or pet duties
- Consistent, easy-to-understand daily routine
- Private accommodation and meals provided
- Supportive and understanding employers who value your wellbeing
- Safe, modern home in one of Dubai’s most desirable communities
You’ll be joining a family that genuinely appreciates hard work and loyalty. If you love turning chaos into calm, sharing the comfort of good home-cooked meals, and having your expertise respected, this could feel like more than just a job—it may quickly become a home away from home.
