About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Join Our Family as a Housemaid in Ajman
Thinking of a role where you can make a real difference in a warm and welcoming home? We’re looking for a dedicated housemaid to work with our small family in Al Al Mwaihat 2, Ajman. With just three adults and no kids, things stay pretty relaxed around here — and you’ll take on a key part in keeping our space cozy and comfortable. If you’re seeking steady work and an environment that feels more like family than workplace, this could be your spot.
About Us
We’re a friendly, down-to-earth family who believes a happy home is the heart of everything. Our flat is simple — just one bedroom and a living room — but we enjoy keeping it tidy and organized. There’s no fancy routine or endless list of chores; your support helps us focus on what matters. You’ll mostly be assisting my wife and sharing a laugh or two along the way. We understand that everyone works differently, so we’ll show you how we like things done — and we’re always open to helpful suggestions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our home clean and organized — this mostly means dusting, sweeping, mopping, and occasionally helping with laundry
- Supporting my wife with easy day-to-day tasks as needed, whether it’s tidying up after meals or running a quick errand
- Ensuring the common areas (living room, kitchenette, bathroom) are tidy and comfortable for all of us
- Occasionally lending a hand with basic meal prep, if you feel comfortable (nothing fancy, promise)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Some experience with household cleaning, either in a home or similar setting
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and a friendly, cooperative attitude
- Willingness to learn our routines and help out where needed
- Good communication — we appreciate feedback and a positive approach
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience assisting women or families in the home
- Ability to cook simple meals or familiarity with home organization tricks
- Any additional skills that make home life smoother (let us know!)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Live-in accommodation provided, so you don’t have to worry about extra expenses
- Starting salary of AED700 for the first month, with a raise in the second month for the right fit
- Kind, fair employers who value open communication and respect
- Simple routines, no heavy workloads or extra responsibilities
- A family environment — we genuinely care about your comfort and well-being
- Opportunity to grow your role as trust and experience develop
We strive to create a place where you’ll feel welcome and appreciated. If you’re looking to work with a considerate family who sees you as part of the household, you’re in the right place.
