About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself seeking a role where you’re truly a part of the family—not just an employee? If you’re an experienced housemaid who enjoys creating a warm, tidy, and welcoming home, this opportunity in Sharjah’s Al Hazana area could be just right for you. We’re a small family of seven (four adults, three easygoing teens) looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work. Here, it’s about quality care, not an overwhelming chore list—just honest help and being appreciated for what you do.
About the Family
Think of us as your typical Sharjah family, only a bit more laid-back. Our villa is a place where laughter is as common as tea breaks, and everyone pitches in when things get busy. The kids (11, 13, and 15) are friendly, self-sufficient, and not little toddlers anymore—no bottles or diapers here! You won’t be alone in the house, and you’ll always be treated with respect and kindness. We value open communication and honesty, and we believe the person who helps us keep our home running smoothly deserves to feel included and at ease.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the villa clean, comfortable, and organized—think daily tidying, sweeping, and a bit of dusting
- Managing laundry and ironing for a small family (no mountain-sized piles, we promise)
- Preparing simple, healthy home-cooked meals (we love good food but nothing too fancy)
- Occasionally assisting with grocery lists or restocking household essentials
- Ensuring the kitchen and home are always welcoming for the family
- Communicating openly about supplies, schedules, or any needs—your input is valued
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a housemaid/nanny or in domestic work

- Trustworthy, reliable, and easy to talk to
- Active and willing to take initiative—someone who notices the little things
- Can work on a residence visa, visit visa, or with a cancelled visa status
Nice-to-Haves:
- Ability to cook simple dishes from time to time (we’re happy to show you our favorites!)
- Speaks basic English or Arabic
- Friendly, positive energy that fits a family environment
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
