About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to be the person everyone turns to when the systems just have to work? At EBF Group, we’re on the hunt for an IT Administrator who thrives on keeping things running smoothly — someone who not only solves problems but anticipates them. If you love the idea of being the backbone of a dynamic company’s tech operations in Al Jazeera, this might be just the role you’ve been looking for.

About EBF Group

EBF Group isn’t your typical corporate maze — we’re a close-knit team that values both collaboration and initiative. Our office culture leans friendly and approachable, with a strong emphasis on supporting one another (and yes, we do have legendary Friday lunch debates about the best productivity apps). We’re growing fast, but we never lose sight of the people behind our progress. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas are welcomed and your expertise genuinely matters, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and maintaining servers, including critical updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Overseeing network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and security across all departments
  • Responding to IT support requests from team members (sometimes with a sense of humor, always with patience)
  • Implementing and maintaining data backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Rolling out system upgrades and new technologies, training staff as needed
  • Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues
  • Ensuring compliance with internal security policies and external regulations
  • Collaborating with vendors and outside partners for equipment and software solutions
  • Keeping meticulous records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role in a business environment
  • Solid understanding of server management (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Familiarity with network administration and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for clear communication
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple projects

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco credentials
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Scripting or automation know-how
  • A sense of humor (trust us, it helps)

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
  • Supportive team culture — help is always a Slack message away
  • Flexible hours and family-friendly policies
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and certifications
  • Modern workspace with up-to-date tech
  • Regular team outings (karaoke skills not required, but appreciated)
  • The chance to make a real impact as we scale

We do our best to create an environment where you can grow, bring your authentic self, and feel proud of the work you do. If you’re ready to be a key player at EBF Group, let’s talk.
