What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining servers, including critical updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Overseeing network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and security across all departments
- Responding to IT support requests from team members (sometimes with a sense of humor, always with patience)
- Implementing and maintaining data backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Rolling out system upgrades and new technologies, training staff as needed
- Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues
- Ensuring compliance with internal security policies and external regulations
- Collaborating with vendors and outside partners for equipment and software solutions
- Keeping meticulous records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role in a business environment
- Solid understanding of server management (Windows and/or Linux)
- Familiarity with network administration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
