About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you passionate about tech, social media, and storytelling — and ready to put your skills to work in a dynamic restaurant setting? We’re looking for an IT and Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team right here in Ajman, on bustling Sheikh Ammar Street. This isn’t your average behind-the-scenes IT gig; you’ll help shape our online presence and create engaging content that brings our restaurant’s personality to life. If you’re eager to combine creativity, tech know-how, and teamwork in a lively hospitality environment, we’d love to meet you.
About the Company
Nestled in the heart of Ajman, our restaurant is more than just a place to eat — it’s a community hub where families, friends, and food lovers gather. We take pride in our welcoming atmosphere and the diverse team that keeps the energy high every day. Our staff meetings feel more like friendly catch-ups, and everyone from the kitchen to the front of house has a voice in the way we grow. Fridays are for celebrating small wins (and maybe trying out a new dessert together). We’re serious about good food, great service, and building a brand that feels as authentic online as it does in person.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the restaurant’s IT needs, from troubleshooting daily tech issues to making sure our digital systems run smoothly
- Designing and executing creative social media marketing campaigns that highlight our food, team, and customer experiences
- Creating and curating engaging content — photos, videos, stories — for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Monitoring social channels, responding to customer inquiries, and building a positive online community
- Collaborating closely with our kitchen and service teams to capture authentic moments from daily life at the restaurant
- Analyzing social media insights and suggesting improvements to boost our online reach and engagement
- Supporting the team during busy periods, pitching in wherever your tech or creative skills are needed
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid residency permit (transferable/loanable, as required by local regulations)
- At least one year of experience in IT support and/or social media marketing
- Strong skills in content creation — especially photography and short-form video
- High personal integrity and a real sense of team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience working in hospitality or food service
- Familiarity with paid social advertising and analytics tools
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
- Arabic language skills (spoken or written)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Free shared housing and daily meals provided — so you can focus on your work and save on living costs
- Supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and creativity
- Plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and grow with us as our brand expands
- A lively, friendly environment where your work makes a visible impact every day
- Flexible schedule during off-peak seasons and a management team that genuinely cares about your well-being
We know that the best teams are built on trust, respect, and a shared sense of purpose. If you’re looking for more than just a job — if you want to help shape a brand and become part of a family — this could be your next great adventure.
