About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Picture yourself backstage, not just at one event—but at the heart of dozens. As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to person behind the scenes, making sure every backdrop gleams, every stage is steady, and every detail is just right before the lights come up. If you’re looking for a hands-on role that keeps you on your toes in Abu Dhabi’s fast-growing event industry, this could be your next move.
About the Company
We’re a tight-knit team passionate about transforming empty spaces into unforgettable experiences. What sets us apart? We treat each event like it’s our own, from gala dinners to product launches and everything in between. You’ll find a supportive crew here—folks who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, share a meal after a long setup, and swap some behind-the-scenes laughter. Busy season? We pull together, celebrate our wins, and yes, sometimes argue about which stage setup turned out best.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Tackle painting touch-ups to keep event furniture, props, and walls looking sharp.
- Handle basic electrical repairs and safely troubleshoot minor lighting or wiring issues.
- Install, repair, and adjust simple carpentry elements—think risers, frames, or temporary installations.
- Measure, cut, and lay carpet for stages and event areas with precision.
- Fix and stabilize various types of stages, ensuring safety and top-notch presentation.
- Maintain and repair event furniture and decorative backdrops—sometimes on a tight turnaround.
- Pitch in with on-site setup and dismantling at event venues across Abu Dhabi—you won’t just be working at one location.
- Communicate with the event planning crew to solve problems quickly (and sometimes creatively!).
- Help load and unload gear, ensuring everything gets where it needs to go safely.

- Experience with carpet installation or event staging.
- Previous work in the events industry or exhibition setups.
- Friendly attitude when working with a diverse team and clients.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

- Opportunities to learn new skills and take on more responsibility.
