What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring safety and comfort for all.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing fixtures — from rapid fixes to scheduled upgrades, your expertise keeps things flowing (literally).
- Service and maintain AC units to ensure the perfect climate for our guests, even in the Dubai summer heat.
- Assist senior technicians with routine checks, emergency repairs, and scheduled maintenance — learning is actively encouraged.
- Respond to guest or internal staff maintenance requests quickly and with a positive attitude; sometimes a smile is as important as the tool kit!
- Help keep equipment and workspaces organized and safe, following both hotel and local standards.
- Participate in regular team huddles (and the coffee breaks that follow) to share knowledge, brainstorm fixes, and swap success stories.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Basic knowledge or experience in one of the following: electrical work, plumbing, AC maintenance, or general repair
- A positive, can-do approach — technical skills matter, but so do teamwork and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed
- Currently residing in the UAE
- Ability to communicate basic instructions in English with guests and colleagues
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior hospitality or hotel maintenance experience
- Familiarity with safety protocols, or a genuine desire to learn them on the job
- Any technical certifications (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
