About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to have a job that truly fits around your busy life — and still gives you a front-row seat to the booming UAE construction scene? As a Marketing & Sales Representative (part-time/freelance), you’ll help connect businesses and suppliers in an industry that’s always building — literally and figuratively. Whether you’re after flexibility, a great earning potential, or the thrill of growing a new platform from the ground up, this role places you right at the heart of the region’s construction pulse.
About the Company
We’re not a decades-old company nestled in a glass tower — we’re a dynamic tech startup with a headquarters in vibrant Al Quoz and a mission to make sourcing and selling in construction smarter. Our team is a melting pot of energetic marketers and industry insiders (with a healthy rivalry over the best Dubai hole-in-the-wall lunch spot). Here, creativity is applauded, hustle is respected, and every win — big or small — is genuinely celebrated. Fridays might be a little quieter, but there’s always chatter about the latest tools, industry trends, or someone’s new favorite coffee joint.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actively reach out to companies, shops, suppliers, and dealers in building materials, equipment, machinery, tools, and scrap across the UAE.
- Present and promote our easy-to-use online platform — showing businesses how it makes their work simpler and their reach wider.
- Use your networking skills to identify new business opportunities and help onboard new users, building real relationships, not just running through a list.
- Provide friendly, clear support to companies with questions — you’ll be the face and voice of the brand in many interactions.
- Regularly share real feedback from the field with the core team, helping us refine our marketing approach (and maybe even our product features).
- Set your own daily schedule, planning visits and calls in a way that fits your personal life and ambitions.
What You’ll Bring
- A real passion for sales, marketing, or business development — if you thrive on making connections, you’ll fit right in.
- Comfort talking to people from all walks of the construction and contracting sector, whether it’s shop owners or site managers.
- Self-motivation and a trustworthy work ethic. You like setting your own goals and chasing them.
- Basic tech-savviness — enough to easily demonstrate our web platform and guide users through the onboarding.
- Based in Dubai, or able to travel to Al Quoz as needed.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Sometimes the best teammates come from unexpected backgrounds.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Flexible hours: Work when you’re at your best — mornings, evenings, or in between other commitments.
- Competitive base salary (AED 3,500) with freelance freedom — you call the shots on your workload.
- Be part of a promising startup where your ideas and feedback can truly shape the product.
- Real opportunities for career progression as the platform (and your role) grows.
- Supportive, inclusive team that values effort, open communication, and honesty.
- A culture that encourages initiative, rewards results, and celebrates learning.
You’ll feel the impact of your work every day — helping the backbone of UAE’s economy connect, grow, and thrive. And you might just discover a part of the industry (or Dubai) you never knew existed.
