What You’ll Be Doing
- Transforming high-concept sketches into flawless, wearable patterns for bespoke evening and bridal gowns.
- Supervising and mentoring a talented workshop team – guiding tailors, sharing expertise, and fostering a collaborative spirit.
- Overseeing every stage of the cutting process, ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards for fit, finish, and beauty.
- Selecting and working with diverse, luxurious fabrics, understanding their behavior to bring each design to life.
- Managing production timelines, balancing artistry and efficiency to deliver on time for our discerning clientele.
- Collaborating closely with designers and clients, turning ideas and inspiration into reality, down to the very last detail.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Several years of hands-on experience as a pattern cutter, ideally in bridal and/or evening wear.
- Mastery of both traditional and modern pattern-making techniques.
- A true artist’s eye for fabric, fit, and finish — with an obsession for precision.
- Proven ability to supervise and inspire a workshop team.
- Excellent communication skills (English required; other languages a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in a luxury atelier or boutique environment.
- Familiarity with the Dubai/UAE fashion scene or international markets.
- Knowledge of hand embroidery or couture finishing techniques.
